Sabrina N. Rouse has been capturing images seriously since the year 2000. She categorizes herself as a nature photographer with a passion for flowers, people and landscapes. One of her goals in photography is the preserve the beauty this world possesses for future eyes to see.
Sabrina uses color and black & white film in 35mm and 120mm formats. She also excels in digital photography and is skillful in Adobe Photoshop. She considers her specialty to be Polaroid transfers and sx-70’s, but uses all forms to create her unique works of art.
A native of California, Sabrina has lived from San Diego to San Francisco and currently resides in San Luis Obispo county. An avid traveler, she loves to explore the world and has been exposed to an array of different cultures and landscapes aiding to her photographic eye.
A graduate from prestigious Pepperdine University, Sabrina graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in History with an emphasis in Photography. Since graduation, Sabrina continues her photographic education by attending UCLA extension courses, workshops and a master’s class providing a firm foundation in the business of photography.
Professionally influenced by Edward Steichen, Dorothea Lange, Edward Weston, Claude Monet, and Vincent Van Gough, Sabrina pays homage to them in her work. Personally influenced by all her talented teachers, she acknowledges and cherishes her privileged education and looks forward to expanding her knowledge as an artist and woman.
